Jade de Guzman is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego where she works as a breast radiologist at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center.
She obtained her medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, where she also completed her diagnostic radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship.
Her interests include all diagnostic and interventional aspects of breast imaging including mammography, US, MRI and tomosynthesis. Jade pursued a career in academic medicine to teach and to mentor those interested in a career in breast imaging. She lectures on a regular basis to fellows, residents, medical students, undergraduate students and students training to be technologists in mammography. She hopes to bridge the gap between the radiologist and technologist to ultimately deliver the highest level of patient care.
She enjoys spending her free time with her family, including 2.5-year-old Ace and 1-year-old Skye.
